Poppies for Sasha is
dedicated to Sasha Roberts, 1966 - 2006. She was an international scholar, writer, musician and dancer of
exceptional gifts, and a beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister.

Her artist mother, Penny
Roberts, has been working in ceramics in response to Sasha's last writing about
Beauty.
|
|
|
|
Penny's project for 2010-11 in
memory of Sasha involves 365 porcelain poppies, left at different sites of
beauty, to be changed by time and weather. These poppies have no roots. If you happen to find one please take it to another place that is
beautiful to you. If you'd like to
share comments or photos of the poppies you've found and relocated please send
